Day 2

The second and final day with the Casey Middle School 6th grade class went great. The nervousness inherent in first introductions was gone, and our students were able to relax and enjoy the activity. In a 180 degree turnaround from Monday, our second group took the initiative with today’s design project. One of the students actually brought clay with him, and made a very unique 3-D model of his ideal temporary school site. Better yet, the kids seemed interested in joining us for our after school program to continue with their interests in designing their own school grounds. I would really like to see them next week!
